Elisabeth is originally from Columbus, Ohio. She completed her undergraduate degree at John Carroll University and medical school at Ohio University College of Osteopathy. Her residency in Family Practice was completed at UPMC Shadyside. Elisabeth is married to Joe Casario since 1993 whom she met in Medical School. They have three children together; Nick, Abby, and Olivia.
